5yrs ago I told my girl I want my hair cut like this, she looked at me and said “so you want a standing in the soup line/Hitler hair?” It should be noted that the reason people had haircuts like this was because they were too poor for other styles.
*edit* I also got called Babe Ruth while standing in PDX/OR with this haircut.
